We were thrilled to host the return of the Rambert Dance Company to the Birley Centre this November, for their annual three day residency. They worked with 30 young dancers aged 14 to 17 from both the College and other Eastbourne Schools Partnership pupils. The workshop culminated in the production of an exciting new piece of choreography performed by the pupils which includes newly created pieces from Ramberts current repertoire.

In addition to the workshop for young dancers, there was also a professional development session for local dance teachers on the first morning of the residency and Lindy Dunbar, an exciting figurative artist, was in residence for the three days capturing the movement of the dancers throughout the workshops.
