As a new initiative Year 11 pupils studying French, German and Spanish at Ratton spent one hour every Wednesday afternoon practising their conversation with native speakers at Eastbourne College. These sessions were designed to help them prepare for their GCSE orals in the summer, and culminated in practice exam orals.
