As a result of the pilot session which took place in June, Dr Hobbs from The Eastbourne Academy will be delivering a series of similar sessions over the next academic year. The event is called ‘Making Connections’, and aims to encourage deep thinking by pupils using group work. Each group is given three objects to form connections between. The groups then give a summary of their thinking processes. We hope that pupils will enjoy thinking and talking about issues and making unusual exciting connections.
Pupils from every school in the Eastbourne Schools Partnership will have the opportunity to participate over the course of the next few months. The first session was held on Tuesday 27 November at Eastbourne College.
